Nathan Matteson // EMAIL

Nathan received his BFA in painting from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and his MFA from the University of Chicago. For the past 10 years, he’s been teaching design courses at colleges in Chicago. During that time, he’s engaged himself in printing, publication design, and letterform construction.

Despite his unquenchable lust for things typographic and ink-laden, lately he finds himself paying his mortgage by slogging through PHP + MySQL backends. And doing odd bits of Python, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.

He is cantankerous. He has no plans to pursue painting.
