OBSTRUCTURES// designs and manufactures aluminum electric guitars and basses as well as aluminum drum kits. The ABC guitar is a manifestation of purpose and performance yielding strength, durability, reliability, and a full, bold sound. All embodied in a carefully designed and constructed piece. The guitar is completely symmetrical yielding an ambidextrous instrument with the flip of the nut.

The ABC guitar is made entirely of 6061 aluminum, CNC machined as close to perfection as technology will allow. Thus it is free from the inconsistencies, material distortion, and fragility to which wood is subject. The neck-through-body design provides a strong connection that is virtually indestructible. This, coupled with the solid body, results in wider frequency range and greater sustain, resulting in a more robust sound than its wood counterparts. Guitars are available in two configurations: The model 0.750 which is 3/4 thick with two pick-ups, and the model 0.625 which is 5/8 thick with one pick-up.
