Octavo Series

The Octavo Series is an initiative to provide well-designed, hard- and soft-bound versions of classic texts at a reasonable price. Too often, books that are affordable to many are merely poor facsimile reprints of earlier editions. Else they’re set in a frail digital type that evaporates as you try to read it. While well-designed and readable editions are priced as semi-luxury items.

No more, we say. Good design doesn’t have to be expensive. Nor do the masses have to be without a reasonable and decent library. Texts currently in the works include: The Federalist Papers, The Golden Sayings of Epictetus, The Leviathan, The Works of Archimedes, and others.
