Cojote Coffee Table

Made from Cojote hardwood, with ebony insets in the upper tabletop. Legs are 6061 aluminum, fitted through mortises in the upper and lower tabletops. There are no fixed fasteners, as the top floats on clevis pins inserted in the legs.

Orginally made because a reasonably priced, fairly well-designed coffee table (which is hard enough to find) wouldn’t break down and fit into a reasonably fuel-efficient, mid-sized sedan. This was the alternative to buying a Hummer.
